Photographic essay of a small apartment with a garden in São Paulo

Since 2020, I have been working with Elenice Teixeira and Fábio Guzzo, partners at Alvorada Arquitetos. Among the projects I have photographed, the photo shoot of Pina Ceramics Studio is one of my favorites.

This time, I was invited to document a small apartment in São Paulo, featuring a garden and a compact pool. The integration of the living room with the terrace allowed for more natural light, and part of the shoot focused on capturing sunlight in these spaces. Additionally, there is a meticulous carpentry work that defines the social and private areas. There was no staging or alteration of the spaces, which include all the furniture, objects, and stories of the apartment's resident (which fortuitously appears in some photos) .

Eu fotografo desde 2020 para a Elenice Teixeira e o Fábio Guzzo, sócios do Alvorada Arquitetos. Entre as obras que documentei, o ensaio do Estúdio de Cerâmica Pina é um dos meus favoritos.

Desta vez, fui chamado para documentar um pequeno apartamento em São Paulo, que conta com um jardim e uma piscina compacta. A integração da sala com o terraço permitiu trazer mais iluminação natural, e parte do ensaio foi dedicada a capturar a luz do sol nesses espaços. Além disso, há um cuidadoso trabalho de marcenaria, que delimita os ambientes sociais e privativos. Não houve produção ou mudança dos ambientes, preservando assim os móveis, objetos e histórias da moradora (que fortuitamente aparece em algumas fotografias).
